Eagles 2012 Off-Season Moves

Posted by Matt Lombardo | Leave a comment »

In arguably their biggest off-season move, the Eagles traded for DeMeco Ryans in March and he’ll likely start at Middle Linebacker this season and will be counted on to bring a veteran voice to a youthful locker room.

In what was a stark contrast from the 2011 offseason, the Eagles spent the winter and spring months taking care of their own, and filling key needs from last year’s squad. There were few free agent splurges, rather the team concentrated it’s efforts on extending DeSean Jackson, LeSean McCoy, Todd Herremans, and Trent Cole. The Front office used the draft to fill holes at defensive tackle, linebacker and added depth throughout the roster. Here is a complete list of the Eagles off-season moves.
