Eagles QB Michael Vick, sidelined since a November 11th concussion against the Cowboys is now out for Sunday’s game in Dallas after failing his most recent imPACT test.
It will likely be at least another week before Michael Vick returns to the field.
That’s because on Wednesday the Eagles quarterback failed his latest imPACT test and will not be cleared to return to action in time for week 12′s matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.
Head trainer Rick Burkholder said on Saturday that Vick was close to being cleared to return to action, but Wednesday’s failed test obviously shows that the quarterback isn’t as far in his recovery process as the team anticipated
The Cowboys game will be the third consecutive game that Vick will miss because of a concussion suffered against Dallas on November 11th. The Eagles have five games remaining this season and it is unclear if Vick will be healthy enough to return in time for the team’s December 9 game in Tampa Bay.
Philadelphia has lost seven straight games, including four in a row prior to Vick’s injury. In his last 24 starts, the Eagles are 10-14.
Nick Foles will make his third career start on Sunday night and has thrown for only 323 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions in his previous starts.
